Description
- Plan operations and maintenance for Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) applications, infrastructure and data for internal clients, including but not limited to Burns & McDonnell’s current primary four applications: Autodesk, Bentley Systems, Hexagon and ESRI.
- Deploy and support AEC applications and additional applications as required by business demand.
- Lead administration and develop automation routines related to product operations (provisions, permissions, metadata) to support business requirements.
- Applies knowledge and experience to complex initiatives and finds/develops operational efficiencies to improve project execution.
- Responsible for coordination between IT disciplines and Global Practices to operate and maintain software and technology that will optimize business processes and deliverables, provide seamless integration, and improve data management.
- Build effective relationships with existing clients and develop recent operational opportunities. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction goals and expectations are met.
- Troubleshoot critical issues and major problems that have been reported by internal clients or escalated by other IT applications staff.
- Escalate unresolved problems to vendor product support as required in a timely manner.
- Develop application test plans and record outcomes in the initiative execution plan.
- Analyze reoccurring issues to determine root cause, corrective action and recommend preventative action.
- Analyze customer issues to identify trends and make recommendations that reduce the number of reoccurring issues.
- Remain informed on improvements in products relevant to the AEC industry.
- Create system architecture diagrams for critical systems.
- Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior IT applications staff.
- Responsible for QA/QC processes for incident tickets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, MIS, CAD, Engineering or related field. and 8 years
