Brain & AI Research Group (BAIRG) is looking for an experienced researcher with strong expertise in conducting and publishing
systematic reviews and meta-analyses
.

This role is ideal for researchers who enjoy teaching while maintaining high methodological and publication standards.

Responsibilities

Deliver online sessions on conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses.

Teach students the complete workflow of a meta-analysis, including:
- Literature search strategy
- Study selection and screening
- Data extraction
- Risk of bias assessment
- Effect size calculation
- Statistical analysis
- Heterogeneity assessment
- Publication bias assessment
- Sensitivity and subgroup analyses
- Forest plots, funnel plots, and interpretation of results

Demonstrate the use of software such as
RevMan, R (meta/metafor packages), Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA), Stata, or equivalent
.





Guide students in interpreting statistical outputs and reporting findings according to PRISMA guidelines.

Review student assignments and provide constructive feedback.

Mentor students throughout their research journey and address methodological queries.

Maintain academic integrity and ensure adherence to evidence-based research practices.

Qualifications

-Master's degree, MPhil, PhD, or equivalent in Psychology, Neuroscience, Public Health, Medicine, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related discipline.

Must have published one or more meta-analysis research papers in peer-reviewed journals.

-Demonstrated experience independently conducting meta-analyses from protocol development to manuscript preparation.

-Robust understanding of systematic review methodology and PRISMA guidelines.

-Excellent command of research methodology and biostatistics.

-Prior teaching, mentoring, or academic training experience is highly preferred.
