Job description
- The selected candidates will work on the DST-sponsored research project, "Computational Modelling of Neural Mechanisms Correlating Cognitive Dysfunctions in Movement Disorders for Improved Diagnosis and Therapy."
- The project aims to develop computational models and AI-driven approaches to understand the neural mechanisms underlying cognitive impairments in movement disorders and support the development of improved diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze multimodal neuroscience datasets, including neuroimaging, electrophysiological, and behavioral data.
- Design and evaluate machine learning and deep learning algorithms for disease modelling and prediction.
- Contribute to the development of AI-enabled tools for diagnosis and therapeutic decision support.
- Assist in preparing technical reports, research publications, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary researchers and participate in project meetings and dissemination activities.

Expected Skills
- Experience in computational neuroscience, neural modelling, machine learning, deep learning, spiking neural networks, biomedical signal processing, or neuroimaging.
- Able to perform Parameter optimisation of spiking neuron model
- Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB.
