Position :Desktop Support Intern

Location : Pune

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Desktop Support Intern to join our IT Support team at Gemscap Global Analyst Pvt. Ltd.. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting.

This internship will provide hands-on exposure to real-time IT support operations, system maintenance, and networking environments in a professional corporate setup. This is an excellent chance for freshers or students who want to build a strong career in IT Infrastructure, Technical Support, and Networking.

Desktop Support Intern Responsibilities:

? Provide basic desktop and technical support to employees. ? Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, printer, and networking issues. ? Install and configure operating systems, software applications, and computer peripherals. ? Support system maintenance, upgrades, and software installations. ? Monitor and maintain desktop systems, laptops, and IT equipment.



? Help in configuring and troubleshooting LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity issues. ? Maintain records of IT assets, systems, and issue logs. ? Coordinate with senior IT support staff for issue resolution. ? Ensure timely response and support for day-to-day technical issues. ? Learn and follow company IT policies, security standards, and support processes.

Required skills:

? Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems. ? Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and software installation. ? Basic networking knowledge (IP, LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches). ? Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. ? Strong willingness to learn new technologies and IT processes. ? Good communication and interpersonal skills. ? Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
