Role & responsibilities

1. ISO Management Systems & Compliance
- Implement and maintain corporate HSE policies, procedures and SOPs aligned with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015.
- Monitor project-level conformance to the corporate HSE management system and statutory requirements; escalate systemic non-conformities to the Head HSE.
- Plan and coordinate readiness for external certification, surveillance and recertification audits, including closure of external audit findings.

2. Internal Audits & Site Visits
- Prepare and execute the annual internal HSE audit calendar covering all project sites.
- Undertake regular site visits to conduct planned internal audits, safety inspections, hazard identification and compliance verification.
- Review and analyse site-specific Method Statements, Risk Assessments (RA/HIRA), Aspect-Impact Assessments (EAIA) and Job Safety Analyses (JSA).
- Verify enforcement of Work Permit Systems, PPE mandates and site-specific safety rules during visits.
- Document audit findings with objective evidence and issue non-conformance reports (NCRs)



with defined ownership and timelines.
- Evaluate contractor monthly HSE performance and interact with contractors periodically to improve HSE conditions and awareness.

3. CAPA Monitoring
- Maintain a centralized CAPA register covering findings from internal audits, external audits, inspections, incidents and near-misses.
- Track Corrective and Preventive Actions to closure; verify effectiveness of implemented actions during subsequent site visits.
- Analyse CAPA trends to identify recurring root causes and recommend systemic improvements to the Head HSE.
- Escalate overdue or high-risk open actions to corporate management with transparent risk context.

4. Incident & Risk Management
- Support and, where required, lead investigation of workplace incidents and near-misses; facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensure learnings are shared across sites.
