Roles and Responsibilities
- Developing eCommerce sites on Shopify and WordPress platforms.
- Developing custom Shopify and WordPress themes.
- Strong knowledge of web browsers, web servers, and web protocols.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Migrating websites from other eCommerce platforms to Shopify and WordPress.
- Extending Shopify and WordPress functionalities to the next level using storefront APIs, liquid programming, meta fields, etc.
- Ability to write APIs, Restful.
- Integrating third-party and platform-supported apps in the sites.
- Setting up payment integration, shipping methods, and taxes in the Shopify platform and WordPress.
- Page speed optimization of Shopify sites and WordPress.
- Implementing SEO/CRO best practices in Shopify and WordPress sites.
- Transforming complex layout PSDs into pixel-perfect presentation-layer HTML5/CSS3 templates.
- Creating responsive website designs.
- Producing high quality of work with a strong focus on detail.
- Thoroughly QA work before submission.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of building WordPress CMS websites using the best practice de-facto standard plugins.
- Experience working at a PHP code level.
- Experience in PHP development and MySQL/MariaDB using MVC Architecture.
- Knowledge of front end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.).
- Knowledge and experience of OOPS.
- Extending Shopify's functionalities to next level using storefront APIs, liquid programming, meta fields, etc.
- Implementing SEO/CRO best practices in Shopify sites.
