At Techdome, architecture is ownership. You design the systems AND stay close to the code — accountable for how your architecture performs in production, where real patient data (PHI) and real money move through it every single day. You'll set the technical standard for an 80+ engineer studio and defend it — in design reviews, PRs, incident retros, and in front of clients.

What You'll Do
- Own platform architecture end-to-end: system design, service boundaries,



data modeling, API contracts, and NFRs (security, scalability, observability, cost).
- Design HIPAA-grade and PCI-aware systems: PHI handling, audit logging, access controls, encryption at rest/in transit, tokenization, and segregation of payment data.
- Architect on the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) plus cloud infrastructure: containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and secrets management.
- Drive high-stakes technical decisions: build vs. buy, monolith vs. microservices, sync vs. event-driven, third-party integration choices — and defend them with evidence.
- Define engineering standards: code review practices, reference architectures, and reusable patterns for the entire studio.
- Design AI-native systems — our engineers ship daily with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor.
