Role Description
The Wire Cable Machines Technician/Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Seemapuri. The role involves operating, monitoring, and adjusting wire and cable machinery to ensure efficient and safe production. Responsibilities include performing routine checks, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and carrying out repairs or coordinating with vendors for specialized service. The technician/engineer will execute preventive maintenance schedules,
document maintenance activities, and support installation and commissioning of current machines and plant set-ups. The role also includes collaborating with production teams, following safety standards, and providing technical input to improve machine performance and reduce downtime.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Machine Operation and handling various types of wire and cable Machinery.
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance, including routine servicing and component replacement.
- Ability in Troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical faults, with practical problem-solving skills.
- Experience implementing Preventive Maintenance practices to extend machine life and minimize breakdowns.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
- Comfort reading technical manuals, machine drawings, and maintenance documentation.
