- Ensure all transactions have been captured and accounted for correctly on internal client books and records are completed accurately within internal market and SLA deadlines
- Track and execute lifecycle events from initial set-up to closeout; taking into account coupons, corporate actions, dividend payments and resets
- Liaise directly with clients and other market participants to confirm and settle transaction.
- Perform and review reconciliations between internal and external data sources. Timely resolution of exceptions
- Respond to complex queries from external parties in relation to associated trades/positions
- Represent the team in cross-functional initiatives and/or projects
- Provide technical guidance to the team by successfully onboarding new hires, proactively addressing complex issues, critical clients and escalations
- Act as SME and provide functional support and coverage for the team, providing direction on workflow prioritization and transaction approval when needed.
Knowledge
- A keen awareness of the Financial Services Industry, Understanding of the derivatives markets is beneficial
- Effective in the use of a variety of communication methods. Robust and clear written and verbal communication.
