Role & responsibilities

To design, develop, and optimize highly reliable, energy-productive, and scalable HVAC systems for mission-critical data centre facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and global best practices. The role is responsible for delivering cooling solutions that maintain optimal environmental conditions for IT equipment while achieving redundancy, operational efficiency, and sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Design (Concept, FEED and Detail Design) of mechanical systems as per local and International standards Indian, APAC, and EMEA
- Creating detailed design and engineering for Tier 3/ 4 Data centre build including master layout design for HVAC, piping and ductwork, Plumbing, HSD and CPM integration
- Understanding and preparing equipment tender BOQ's with necessary technical specifications, layouts, heat load calculations, ventilation calculations reviewing CFD reports, PUE calculations etc.
- Interacting with the customers to understand their business requirement and designing the Data centres.




- Ensuring proper design planning and delivery as per defined schedule. • Interacting with Vendors and contractors
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation (drawings/ calculations/ reports / PowerPoint slides)
- Prepare Design Basis, Calculations, P&ID; schematics, equipment sizing calculations and specifications which includes defining of performance set points for mechanical equipment such as Air/ water cooled chillers, pumps, thermal storages, cooling towers, CRAC/CRAHs, Fan wall Units as a when required. Working knowledge of I/O lists, loop Diagrams, and Instrument datasheets shall be an added advantage.
- Coordination with Electrical/ Security/ BMS discipline for finalising the electrical loads for mechanical equipment, I/O points as well as allocating power provisions in drawings.
