Industry: Special Purpose Machines (SPM) Assembly & Inspection Systems (Automotive)

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly driven QMS & Process Engineering Lead who will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS) and end-to-end business and manufacturing processes across the organization.

This role goes beyond traditional quality—it involves designing workflows, standardizing operations, and implementing data-driven performance tracking systems to ensure scalability, repeatability, and compliance with automotive industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. QMS Development & Implementation
- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust QMS aligned with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 (preferred)
- Create and manage quality documentation: SOPs, work instructions, formats, checklists
- Ensure document control, traceability, and audit readiness
- Lead internal and external audits (customer and certification)

2. Process Design & Workflow Structuring
- Map and design end-to-end workflows across:




- Inquiry Design Procurement Manufacturing Assembly Testing Dispatch Installation After-sales
- Define standard processes, checkpoints, responsibilities, and approval stages
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and process gaps; implement improvements
- Drive standardization across projects to ensure repeatability in SPM builds

3. Data Collection, Benchmarking & Performance Analysis
- Design and implement structured data collection systems across all project stages
- Define standard formats/templates for consistent data capture across departments
- Establish systems to compare current performance with historical data (e.g., last year / past projects)
- Track and analyze KPIs such as:
- Cycle time per project/stage
- Assembly time vs estimates
- Rework and rejection rates
- Cost and timeline deviations
- Machine performance during trials and FAT
