We are looking for a Data Engineer II to join our Data Analytics Engineering Team in Bengaluru. Our mission is to help teams detect anomalies, generate analysis, and create projections, recommendations, and onward-journeys for customers. To achieve this, we extract relevant data from our production systems to generate working data for reporting, analytics, and machine learning teams.

The Job

You will work side by side with other data engineers and site reliability engineers to improve the reliability, scalability, maintenance, and operations of all the data products within our analytics ecosystem. You will collaborate with colleagues in Amsterdam - including engineering managers, product managers, and data scientists - to achieve results the right way.

Your day-to-day work includes:
- Maintenance and operations of data pipelines and products that handle data at big scale.
- Developing capabilities for monitoring, alerting, testing, and troubleshooting the data ecosystem.
- Delivering data products that produce actionable metrics, projections, and recommendations for downstream teams.





Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Take ownership of multiple data pipelines and provide innovative solutions to reduce operational workload.
- Rapidly develop next-generation scalable, versatile, and high-performance data pipelines.
- Contribute to data platform capabilities such as testing, monitoring, debugging, and alerting.
- Maintain end-to-end ownership of data quality in complex datasets and prioritize issue resolution based on customer impact.
- Experiment with new tools and technologies to meet business requirements regarding performance, scaling, and data quality.
- Provide self-organizing tools that help the analytics community discover data, assess quality, and explore usage.
- Serve as the main point of contact for technical and business stakeholders regarding pipeline failures and data concerns.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineer
