Role & responsibilities
- 5+ years of experience in test automation / SDET / quality engineering roles, with proven exposure to maintaining automation suites and supporting automation initiatives.
Design, develop, and maintain UFT
- automation test scripts aligned to business and regression requirements
- Build and enhance keyword/frameworkbased automation assets
- Develop reusable automation components for Web / ERP / enterprise applications
- Follow defined automation standards, naming conventions, and frameworks
- Execute UFT automated regression cycles as part of release / sprint delivery
- Analyze failures and identify script, application, data, or workplace issues
- Collaborate with developers and functional QA for defect triage and resolution
- Ensure automation contributes to cycle time reduction and release confidence
- Exposure to POCs / experimentation for automation improvements or AI enablement in QA (as support role).
