Job Title:

Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) – Seating Foam

Job Description:

Assist in designing plastic components used in automotive seating systems.

Prepare and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings as per design requirements.

Support senior engineers in product development and engineering changes.

Ensure designs comply with customer specifications, company standards, and manufacturing feasibility.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as CAE, tooling, manufacturing, and quality.

Participate in design reviews and implement feedback.

Maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, and revision records.

Learn and apply automotive standards, GD&T;, DFMEA, and plastic design guidelines.

Support prototype development, testing, and issue resolution.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering.

Basic knowledge of plastic part design and injection molding.

Familiarity with CAD software such as CATIA V5, UGNX.

Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T; fundamentals.

Positive analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced automotive environment.
