Job Description: Export Manager – FMCG | Food products

Reports to: Head of International Business / Director

Role Objective

Drive revenue growth and brand presence for our Instant Noodles range in overseas markets. Responsible for developing new distributors, managing existing accounts, and building the brand in assigned regions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify and develop new markets for Instant Noodles in Africa, Middle East, SE Asia, GCC, USA, EU, etc.
- Appoint, train and manage distributors, importers, and key retail accounts
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual export sales targets in volume and value
- Conduct market visits, trade fairs, and B2B meetings for lead generation

2. Channel & Customer Management
- Build relationships with up-to-date trade, cash & carry, ethnic stores, and food service channels
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQs, and annual contracts with partners
- Monitor distributor performance:



off-take, secondary sales, distribution reach, SKU listing

3. Product & Brand Management
- Work with R&D;/Packaging to adapt products for local taste, halal, regulatory, and labeling norms
- Drive brand activation, sampling, and in-store promotions with distributors
- Track competitor activity: pricing, SKUs, promotions of Top Ramen, Nissin, Indomie, Maggi, etc.

4. Operations & Compliance
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, QA, and Regulatory for export documentation, shelf life, certifications
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, FDA, HACCP, Halal, COI, and destination country F&B; laws
- Manage pricing, margins, forex hedging, and credit control. Minimize overdue

5. Reporting & Strategy
- Prepare market-wise sales forecasts, market entry plans, and P&L;
- Submit weekly reports on pipeline, competitor intel, and market feedback
- Represent the company at international food exhibitions: Gulfood, THAIFEX, SIAL,
