Mission of the Role
The mission of the Calibration Engineer is to ensure the accuracy, reliability and compliance of all inspection and testing instruments. By maintaining accurate calibration standards, adhering to international quality norms, and proactively managing equipment performance, the engineer supports Cotecna’s commitment to integrity, trust, and excellence in the TIC industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Instrument Calibration: Perform timely calibration of all inspection and testing equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Compliance with Standards: Ensure adherence to ISO/IEC 17025, NABL, and other international calibration standards.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain calibration records, certificates, and logs for audits and client assurance.
- Preventive Maintenance:
Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Audit & Quality Support: Support internal and external audits by providing calibration evidence and compliance reports.
- Training & Awareness: Train staff on proper equipment handling and the importance of calibration accuracy.
- Risk Management: Identify risks of measurement errors and implement corrective actions to safeguard Cotecna’s credibility.
Qualifications, Experience and Technical Skills
- Diploma/ BE instrumentation
- Min 2-3 years of experience
