Position: Linux Kernel Engineer
Experience: 6 to 8 years
Location: Bangalore ( Hybrid)
Qualification: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MCA

We are seeking an experienced Embedded/Linux Kernel Engineer with solid hands-on expertise in Linux Kernel, C/C++ programming, and Yocto. The ideal candidate must have substantial experience working on Qualcomm chipsets or SoCs and should be capable of driving end-to-end design, development, and integration activities for embedded platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, port, and optimize Linux Kernel components, device drivers, and BSP layers.
- Build, customize, and maintain BSP and embedded Linux distributions using Yocto Project.
- Work on Qualcomm SoC platforms for board bring-up, peripheral integration, and performance optimization.
- Develop efficient and high-quality embedded applications using C/C++.
- Analyze system logs, debug kernel crashes, and resolve hardwaresoftware interaction issues.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Hardware, QA, Systems) to deliver high-quality releases.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions.

Must-Have Skills
- Robust expertise in Linux Kernel internals, device driver development, and low-level programming.
- Hands-on experience with Yocto (recipes, layers, build system, system customization).
- Proficiency in C programming for embedded systems.
- Mandatory experience working with Qualcomm chipsets or SoC platforms.
- Strong understanding of hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, PCIe, etc.).
- Experience with debugging tools (GDB, JTAG, Lauterbach, crash utilities).
- Good understanding of bootloaders (U-Boot) and BSP customization.
