Role & responsibilities
- Select the right automation framework and define innovative automated testing strategies and toolsets to enhance QA practices
- Conduct automated tests (and manual tests where necessary) to ensure release-ready software quality
- Perform end-to-end (E2E) testing across application boundaries for seamless integration and robust functionality
- Automate end-to-end user scenarios using a BDD approach
- Plan and execute performance testing to evaluate system stability, responsiveness, and efficiency under load
- Implement security testing practices to safeguard application integrity and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Work within cross-functional, agile project teams to build quality into the development process from requirements through delivery
- Maintain detailed documentation and ensure robust storage of test execution artifacts and results
- Provide regular feedback to the team on overall quality status
- Collaborate closely with Software Engineering, Product Management, Technical Operations, and business users




- Participate in requirement grooming and design discussions, contributing to a left-shift testing approach
- Contribute to Design for Testability (DfT) by reviewing system design/architecture for testability, observability, and automation-friendliness

Preferred candidate profile
- 57 years of experience in automation testing with strong expertise in Cypress, TypeScript, Cucumber, and Node.js
- Strong working knowledge of testing fundamentals such as TDD and BDD
- Proven ability to optimize automation scripts, reduce test-cycle time, and improve product reliability
- Experience setting automation goals for recent and existing features
- Hands-on experience across the full testing lifecycle requirement analysis, test case design, automation scripting, execution, debugging, and reporting
- Track record of improving test automation coverage
- Experience contributing to requirements analysis and agile story grooming for testab
