Key Responsibilities
- Oculoplasty Surgeon
- Diagnose and manage eyelid, lacrimal, orbital, and facial disorders
- Perform oculoplastic and reconstructive surgeries
- Manage trauma, eyelid malpositions, orbital diseases, and lacrimal disorders
- Conduct OPD consultations and surgical procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Paediatric Ophthalmologist Strabismus Surgeon
- Diagnose and treat pediatric eye disorders
- Manage squint (strabismus), amblyopia, refractive errors,
and congenital eye diseases
- Perform pediatric ophthalmic and strabismus surgeries
- Counsel parents regarding treatment plans and follow-up care
- Coordinate with optometrists, orthoptists, and OT teams
Skills Required
- Solid clinical and surgical expertise in respective subspecialties
- Excellent patient counselling and communication skills
- Professional and ethical approach to patient care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
