Job Summary: The Senior Manager - Accounts will support the accounting team by overseeing day-to-day financial operations, preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies. This role requires robust organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to meet financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Reconciliation:
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform reconciliations of accounts (bank, general ledger, etc.) and ensure accuracy.
- Ensure that financial reports are accurate, timely, and in compliance with regulations.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Prepare and review vendor payments and ensure timely processing.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve payment discrepancies.
- General Ledger Maintenance:




- Assist in maintaining the general ledger and ensuring accuracy in posting transactions.
- Help with journal entries and ensure proper documentation for audit purposes.
- Tax Compliance:
- Support the preparation and filing of tax returns (GST, VAT, income tax, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for audits and assessments.
- Internal Controls:
- Monitor financial processes to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Suggest improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes.
- Audit & Compliance:
- Help prepare for internal and external audits.
- Ensure all accounting practices comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Other Duties:
- Perform any other accounting-related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
- Participate in special projects or process improvements as needed.
