About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Platform Engineering Lead to build and lead a world-class Platform Engineering team based in Bangalore. This is a senior leadership role with a primary focus on DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), with a forward-looking emphasis on integrating AI-driven capabilities into platform operations. The team you build will serve as a critical enabler for software engineering teams across our global organization.
What You’ll Do
- Build, grow, and lead a high-performing Platform Engineering team in Bangalore, establishing it as a centre of excellence for DevOps and SRE
- Define and execute the platform engineering strategy, roadmap, and operating model to support global engineering teams
- Own the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud platforms
- Champion and embed AI/ML-powered tooling into DevOps and SRE workflows — including AIOps, intelligent alerting, predictive incident management, and automated remediation




- Establish and enforce SRE principles including SLOs, SLAs, error budgets, and blameless post-mortems across the organization
- Define, track, and report on platform engineering metrics — including deployment frequency, change failure rate, mean time to recovery (MTTR), and system availability — to drive continuous improvement and demonstrate value to global stakeholders
- Partner closely with global engineering leaders to understand platform needs and deliver reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure
- Drive a culture of operational excellence, reliability, and continuous delivery
- Mentor and develop engineering managers and senior engineers within the team
- Manage vendor relationships, tooling decisions, and platform engineering budgets
What You’ll Bring
