About the Role

At VOPA, we are building AI-powered systems used across 70,000+ schools in Maharashtra, impacting millions of children through the NIPUN Maharashtra Mission.

Key Responsibilities
- Strong understanding of Transformers, LLMs, and model fine-tuning
- Hands-on experience with LoRA, QLoRA, HuggingFace, PEFT, or Unsloth
- Knowledge of PyTorch and ML training pipelines
- Understanding of model deployment, GPU inference, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience or interest in Computer Vision, ASR, Indic language AI, or handwriting recognition
- Ability to work on production-grade AI systems, not just experimentation

Required Skills
- Fine-tuning open-source models for Marathi handwriting and speech tasks
- Building scalable ML pipelines and evaluation systems




- Deploying AI models for cloud and edge environments
- Working on real-world low-resource language challenges
- Collaborating with a technically strong and mission-driven team

Eligibility
- 0 3 years experience
- Freshers with demonstrable skills are encouraged
- People who can build, experiment, troubleshoot, and learn rapid

- This is not a prompt-engineering or annotation role. We are looking for people who genuinely understand models, systems, and AI engineering fundamentals.
