- As an Engineer you will typically work for an engineering / projects team along with design and architectural teams. Your primary job function will be to oversee the design and implementation of plumbing engineering systems, ranging from waste disposal systems to water systems including but not limited to STP, WTP, Swimming Pools, water bodies, irrigation and its peripherals.
- insight into the codal requirements of water and sewage with respect to MoEF, MPCB, and NBC is expected.
- In this role, you will usually be responsible for coordination and managing designs from different vendors and consultants and also preparing and checking of DBRs and Drawings on day to day basis.
- You may be working on projects for use in a wide variety of buildings, such as township planning, high-rise buildings, commercial businesses, and mlcps.
- Managing all aspects of the design process, which can include analyzing the system, performing design calculations, and choosing the appropriate system and equipment for installation.
- You shall have to meet in with people of expertise in the specific trade and communicate the requirements and generate designs and drawings through them.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Design Teams internal and external for implementation of the specific drawings.
- commercial acumen towards costs of all items involved in the design is desired but not mandatory; however practical knowledge of installation and warranties is a must.
- Prepare all associated presentations in form of drawings, ppt. and working sheets to present your proposal to management.
- Drafting technical documentation like project drawings and design amendments, overseeing personnel assigned to the project, and providing training and mentoring to junior engineering staff.
- Responsible for performing quality assurance reviews on projects, evaluating all shop drawings, and providing assistance on requests for information (RFIs).
