Role Purpose

The Sales Manager Banca is responsible for driving life insurance business through assigned banking partners by building strong relationships in different branches assigned with branch teams, enhancing partner productivity, and achieving business targets through effective sales planning, coaching, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive life insurance sales through the assigned bank branches and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with Branch Managers, Relationship Managers, and other bank staff to maximize business opportunities.
- Conduct joint sales calls with bank employees to generate quality leads and convert them into business.
- Deliver product training and regular coaching sessions to bank staff to improve product knowledge and sales capability.
- Monitor branch-wise business performance and implement action plans to improve productivity.
- Ensure effective lead management, customer follow-ups, and closure of sales opportunities.




- Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure a seamless sales experience.
- Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines and organizational policies during the sales process.
- Track business MIS, sales pipeline, and branch productivity, and provide regular updates to the reporting manager.
- Participate in sales campaigns, contests, and promotional initiatives to drive business growth.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM preferred).
- 35 years of sales experience, preferably in Life Insurance Bancassurance Sales or BFSI, Banking, or Financial Services Sales experience.
- Experience in Handling multi tie up Banca sales mandate.
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Customer-centric approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
