Role Description
The Associate Veterinarian for the pet hospital will provide high-quality clinical care to companion animals, including conducting physical examinations, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine and emergency procedures, administering vaccinations, overseeing preventive care, and monitoring patient progress. The role also involves counseling pet caregivers on nutrition, behavior, and overall wellness, as well as maintaining accurate medical records and collaborating with veterinary assistants and support staff. The Associate Veterinarian will participate in hospital protocols, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and uphold safety and ethical standards in all clinical activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications
- Veterinary medical degree (BVSc or equivalent) from an accredited institution and valid license or eligibility to practice veterinary medicine in the relevant jurisdiction.




- Demonstrated clinical skills in small animal medicine and surgery, including physical examination, diagnostics, treatment planning, and routine procedures.
- Knowledge of preventive care, vaccination protocols, parasite control, nutrition, and wellness programs for companion animals.
- Robust communication and interpersonal abilities for explaining medical information clearly to pet caregivers and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to maintain detailed medical records, follow clinical protocols, and adhere to animal welfare, safety, and ethical standards.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced hospital environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with advances in veterinary medicine.
- Experience in a pet hospital or small animal practice is preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training are also encouraged to apply.
