Role & responsibilities
- Purchasing Of Direct, Indirect material including Steel, Production consumables, Bought outs, Spare Parts
- Purchasing of Capex items, Imported Machineries, IT Equipments etc.
- Contract Management for various areas such as canteen, security, employee transport; AMC, statutory services etc.
- Quotation analysis, Cost estimation & Negotiation
- Vendor Development Outsourcing
- Disposal of Process Scrap through auctioning process
- Operations and material stores
- Measuring & Monitoring performance of suppliers
- Cost Reduction
- Data bank maintenance and MIS Reports preparation
- Inventory Management
Preferred candidate profile
- Shall have thorough knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 / IMS certification process
- Proficiency in English / Local / Hindi Language
- Knowledge of SAP MM Module
- Active Participation for implementing improvement initiatives
- Ready to accept additional responsibilities
Experience :
8 to 12 years in Procurement activities of Steel manufacturing / Process / PEB Construction industry.
