Primary Accountability

Perform precision machining of plastic and fluoropolymer components using CNC, VMC, and TMC machines, applying hands-on expertise in programming, setup, machining, inspection, and continuous process improvement to achieve high dimensional accuracy and surface finish.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)
- Perform precision machining of engineering plastics such as PTFE, PEEK, PFA, UHMWPE, Nylon, Acetal, and PVDF
- Operate and program CNC, VMC, and TMC machines independently
- Set up machines, tools, fixtures, and work offsets for new and repeat jobs
- Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies suited to plastic materials
- Estimate machining time and cost for jobs




- Drive continuous process improvement to consistently achieve high dimensional accuracy and surface finish

Qualifications:
- Diploma / BE / BTech Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering
- (ITI with robust CNC programming and machining experience may also be considered)

Skills Required

Functional
- Experience in precision plastic or fluoropolymer components for chemical, semiconductor, pharma, or industrial applications
- Exposure to ISO 9001 / IMS / QA documentation and SAP
- Experience in low-volume, high-precision, or custom machining environments

Behavioral
- Strong ability to work independently
- High attention to detail and precision
- Ability to estimate and plan machining jobs effectively
