Algo is seeking an Assistant Accountant to contribute to our financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our financial records. In this role, you will be responsible for exact data entry and bookkeeping, assisting in the management of accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements. Collaborating with the finance team, you'll play a vital role in month-end closing processes and contribute to the preparation of financial reports. This position requires attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
What You'll Do
Assisting in the development and execution of financial processes, including accurate data entry, bookkeeping, and reconciliation of bank statements, to ensure the precision of financial records.
Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support financial planning and decision-making.
Monitoring and managing cash flow to ensure there is sufficient liquidity for ongoing operations.
Tracking and categorizing expenses, ensuring accurate allocation and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Assisting in the preparation of tax returns and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
Providing support during internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
Monitoring and managing customer credit accounts to ensure timely payment and minimize bad debts.
Utilizing and maintaining financial software and systems to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
What You Are
You possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles, with a preference for those with exposure to ecommerce environments.
You have a keen understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
You are detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills to manage
