About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at FLSmidth. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for executing design and engineering activities related to our mining product lines, particularly in the thickening segment used for slurry concentration and tailings management. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing innovative, reliable,



and cost-effective solutions that meet both customer specifications and industry standards. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the successful delivery of engineering projects from concept through to manufacturing, supporting our mission to enable sustainable mining practices worldwide.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 4 years and up to 11 years of experience in designing and developing large-scale industrial equipment is essential. Demonstrated proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling, detailing, and assembly management is required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of mining equipment such as thickeners, clarifiers, and drives, along with familiarity with engineering standards and GD&T; practices.
