Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Connection Design Engineer based in Chennai. The Connection Design Engineer will design and detail structural steel connections for various building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications. Daily responsibilities include analyzing loads and connection requirements, preparing engineering calculations,



and producing clear design sketches and documentation for fabrication and erection. The role involves close collaboration with project engineers, detailers, CAD teams, and fabrication staff to resolve design issues, optimize connection solutions, and support project schedules. The engineer will also review shop drawings, perform quality checks, and support coordination with stakeholders to maintain accuracy, safety, and constructability throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess robust Design Engineering skills focused on structural steel connection design and detailing.
- Candidates should possess core civil Engineering or related engineering skills relevant to structural and industrial applications.
- Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for interpreting and reviewing fabrication drawings and connection details.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Product Design principles as they apply to engineering
