Role Description
This is a full time on-site role for the position of Deputy General Manager (DGM) - Engineering, based in Aurangabad. The role involves overseeing engineering functions, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of manufacturing processes and equipment. Core responsibilities include ensuring adherence to regulatory and safety standards, managing projects, supervising the technical team, and coordinating with cross-functional departments to facilitate seamless operations. Additionally, the DGM will lead productivity improvements and support compliance with industry best practices and corporate guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of engineering processes, regulatory compliance, and plant maintenance
- Proficiency in project management, problem-solving, and process optimization
- Team leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Educational qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, or similar engineering discipline; a master’s degree is advantageous
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare manufacturing industry .
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and operational excellence initiatives is a plus
