Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong networking expertise to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Python development, network protocols, automation, and troubleshooting. The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable networking solutions, automating network operations, and working closely with cross-functional teams to build high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain networking applications using Python.
- Develop automation tools for network configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Work on Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols.
- Analyze and troubleshoot network-related issues across enterprise environments.
- Develop REST APIs and integrate with network management systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Python code.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.





Required Skills
- 37 years of experience in Python development.
- Solid knowledge of Python, object-oriented programming, and scripting.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Layer 2 & Layer 3 Networking
- TCP/IP, UDP
- IPv4 & IPv6
- VLAN, STP
- Routing & Switching
- DNS, DHCP
- SSH, SNMP
- Experience with REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Linux environment.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with network automation frameworks (Netmiko, NAPALM, Paramiko, Nornir).
- Knowledge of Ansible.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Exposure to VPN technologies.
- Basic understanding of security protocols such as 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, or AAA.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
