Role Description
The Sidel Blowing Machine Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Disa. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring Sidel PET bottle blowing machines to ensure consistent quality and production output. Day-to-day tasks include starting and stopping the machine, adjusting settings, performing routine checks, and ensuring that bottles meet defined quality specifications. The operator inspects preforms and finished bottles, identifies and reports defects, and performs basic troubleshooting to resolve minor mechanical or process issues.



The role also involves coordinating with maintenance and production teams, following safety and hygiene protocols, keeping accurate production records, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications
- Experience operating or assisting with Sidel or similar PET bottle blowing machines, or other automated production equipment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude, with the ability to perform minor adjustments, changeovers, and troubleshoot routine machine issues.
- Attention to detail for quality inspection of bottles, including visual checks for defects, proper shaping, and correct dimensions.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety, hygiene, and housekeeping practices in a food or beverage production environment.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures, production schedules, and instructions accurately and consistently.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with supervisors
