Summary:
Precision Development (PxD) is looking for a Research Associate to join our team, which is embedded within a government ministry. The successful candidate will have opportunities to work closely with PxD and affiliated researchers and substantially contribute to PxD's and the client’s research programs that test new ideas and measure their impacts. The successful candidate should understand and appreciate digital technology adoption and scaling within the government.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Management & Analysis
- Carry out complex day-to-day data management, including cleaning, merging,
and preparing datasets for analysis.
- Produce accurate and organized data summaries, including descriptive statistics and regression analysis.
Research Design, Fieldwork & Documentation
- Support primary data collection, including designing high-frequency data checks and training enumerators.
- Conduct farmer surveys, interviews, and co-design exercises to inform and improve services.
- Draft survey and focus group discussion instruments, advising on structure and concepts.
- Conduct literature reviews and desk research, providing input on research questions and study design.
- Maintain project documentation, including experiment registry entries and IRB protocols.
Program Insights, Monitoring & Evaluation
- Develop and refine frameworks to generate program insights.
- Support development and monitoring of dissemination platforms, and complementary M&E; efforts.
