A team of 900 teachers educates around 18,000 children annually, emphasizing holistic development through the 7C program—Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, Cultural appreciation, Community engagement, Caring, and Critical thinking. Over the next five years, Hippocampus aims to significantly expand its footprint to 500 schools and 2,000 preschools.

Role Description
The Director – Kindergarten Franchise Network will lead the development, expansion, and performance of Hippocampus’s kindergarten franchise network across target regions.



This full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru involves designing and executing growth strategies, identifying and onboarding franchise partners, and ensuring that all centres adhere to Hippocampus’s educational standards and operational guidelines. The role includes overseeing franchise operations, supporting centre leaders with training and guidance, monitoring enrolments and financial performance, and implementing continuous improvements in curriculum delivery and child outcomes. The Director will collaborate closely with academic, operations, and finance teams to maintain quality, drive sustainability, and align franchise activities with the organization’s mission and scale-up plans. The position also requires regular field visits, stakeholder engagement, and reporting to senior leadership on network performance and strategic initiatives.
