About the role
We're an early-stage startup building an AI-powered business calling platform — think a modern cloud calling system for sales and support teams, with an intelligence layer that learns from every conversation. We already have the AI/agent-intelligence side covered. Now we need a founding full-stack engineer to build the core product — and own it end to end.
This is a 0→1, high-ownership role. You won't be a cog maintaining someone else's code; you'll architect and ship the platform from scratch, work directly with the founder, and see your work in customers' hands within weeks.
What you'll build
- Thecloud calling platform on Twilio— outbound & inbound calls, call routing,IVR, call recording, and number provisioning via API.
- Anin-browser softphone(click-to-call) using theTwilio Voice SDK / WebRTC.
- Call logging, team & user management, and an analytics dashboard.
- CRM integrations(e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) and no-code automation for follow-ups.




- Theintegration layer for our AI engine— plugging in transcription, call summaries, an agent copilot, and (over time) autonomous call handling built by our AI engineer.
- A reliable, scalablecall infrastructure— event-driven, webhook-heavy, built to handle real call volume.

Must-have
- 2-3 years full-stack experience shipping production software.
- Hands-on Twilio Programmable Voicein production (calls, TwiML, webhooks, Numbers API).
- WebRTC / Twilio Voice SDKexperience (browser-based calling).
- Strongbackend(Node.js and/or Python) andfrontend(React / Next.js).
- Comfort withevent-driven systems, webhooks, REST APIs, queues.
- Solid withSQL/NoSQL databasesand a cloud platform (AWS or GCP).
- A0→1 builder mindset— ownership, speed, and comfort with ambiguity.

Nice-to-have
- DeeperSIP / VoIPknowledge; experience with call-center or telephony products.
