Role Description
This is a remote, contract role for an Arbortext XML Authoring professional. The role involves creating, structuring, and maintaining XML-based content using Arbortext, ensuring consistency with established content models, templates, and style guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include converting existing materials to Arbortext XML, tagging and validating content, troubleshooting formatting and structural issues,



and collaborating with instructional designers or subject matter experts to clarify technical and academic requirements. The professional will also perform quality checks on XML files, manage version control, and coordinate with the technical team to ensure seamless integration of XML content into the platform. Explicit documentation of workflows and adherence to delivery timelines are expected.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Arbortext Editor and XML authoring skills, including experience with DTDs, schemas, and structured content creation.
