We are looking for an experienced C++ Developer with strong Python programming and Networking expertise to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have experience developing networking applications on Windows and/or Linux platforms and possess a solid understanding of networking protocols, authentication mechanisms, and system-level programming.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain networking applications using C/C++ on Windows and/or Linux platforms.
- Develop automation tools and utilities using Python.
- Work on Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols and troubleshoot network-related issues.
- Develop and enhance authentication, authorisation, and network security features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software.
- Debug, optimise, and improve application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.

Required Skills




- Strong programming experience in C/C++.
- Positive hands-on experience with Python.
- Experience developing applications on Windows and/or Linux.
- Strong understanding of Networking concepts.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Layer 2 & Layer 3 Networking
- IEEE 802.1X
- AAA (Authentication, Authorisation & Accounting)
- RADIUS Protocol
- Knowledge of multithreading, sockets, and network programming.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have
- Experience with VPN Client and VPN Server applications.
- Strong knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6.
- Experience with Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
- Knowledge of SAML Authentication.
- Experience with TACACS+ (Terminal Access Controller Access-Control System Plus).
- Familiarity with secure networking and authentication protocols.
