Position Summary
The ABAC COE Analyst is responsible for conducting Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption (ABAC) due diligence reviews within the redesigned Third Party Program. Acting as a critical risk filter, the role evaluates and resolves low-to-medium risk findings, ensures consistent and defensible risk assessments, and escalates complex or high-risk matters to appropriate stakeholders.
The role supports productive third-party onboarding, strengthens risk identification, maintains audit-ready documentation, and ensures compliance with global ABAC standards and regional regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
ABAC Risk Review & Due Diligence
- Review due diligence findings from screening tools and external providers.
- Assess ABAC-related risks including conflicts of interest, government affiliations, and adverse media.
- Apply standardized risk assessment criteria to evaluate findings.
- Resolve low-level findings and identify cases requiring escalation.
- Document risk assessments, decisions, and rationale in an audit-ready format.
Business Engagement & Issue Resolution
- Partner with Business Relationship Owners to obtain context and supporting documentation.
- Provide guidance on resolving compliance concerns.
- Facilitate timely resolution of low-to-medium complexity due diligence issues.
Escalation & Decision Governance
- Determine when findings exceed delegated authority and require escalation.
- Escalate higher-risk cases to Compliance Leadership, Global Security, Legal, or TPRC as appropriate.
- Follow established escalation protocols, risk frameworks, and decision playbooks.
Risk Consistency & Program Integrity
- Ensure consistent application of ABAC standards across all cases.
- Identify trends, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities in risk assessments.
