Role Description
The Propulsion Engineer will work on-site at XKY’s facility in Madurai in a full-time capacity. This role involves designing, analyzing, integrating, and testing propulsion systems and components for aerospace applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing performance and reliability evaluations, developing and validating models, supporting system-level trade studies, and collaborating with systems engineering,
structures, and controls teams. The Propulsion Engineer will prepare technical documentation, support test planning and execution, and interpret test data to refine designs and resolve technical issues. The role also includes participation in design reviews, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and ongoing optimization of propulsion performance and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Propulsion and Propulsion Systems, with experience in design, analysis, and integration of aerospace propulsion components.
- Background in Aerospace Engineering and Systems Engineering, with the ability to work across disciplines and understand system-level interactions.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills, including proficiency with engineering tools, simulations, and data interpretation for performance and reliability assessments.
