Role Overview

We are seeking an Accountant with hands-on experience in US accounting operations and outsourced accounting environments. The ideal candidate should have practical exposure to US accounting software, robust Excel skills, and the ability to manage accounting workflows across multiple clients and industries.

This role involves working directly on bookkeeping, reconciliations, AP/AR processes, reporting, and month-end close activities for US-based clients.

Role & responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations
- Record and reconcile transactions in US accounting software platforms
- Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
- Perform bank, credit card, vendor, inventory, factor, and payment reconciliations
- Execute 2-way and 3-way PO matching for inventory and purchasing transactions
- Prepare Excel-based reports, reconciliations, and financial schedules




- Support month-end and year-end closing of books
- Maintain general ledger accuracy through proper review and coding
- Coordinate professionally with international clients and internal teams
- Assist with financial analysis and process improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping with exposure to US clients
- Strong working knowledge of US accounting software such as QuickBooks Online (QBO), Sage, Bill.com, and other cloud-based accounting platforms
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, reconciliations, reporting, and data analysis
- Good understanding of US accounting workflows and month-end close processes
- Experience handling bank, inventory, vendor, factor, and payment reconciliations
- Strong English communication and client coordination skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to
