Must Have:
- Monitors for the 24X7X365 Production Control environment and support capabilities for Mainframe.
- Monitors Batch processing (Distributed/Mainframe/Transmissions) or On-Line Regions.
- Monitors the Overnight Batch Cycles, ensuring all SLAs are met.
- Monitor, submit and assist in the repair of abended jobs.




- Maintain and provide technical expertise in order to transfer knowledge on operating systems.
- Maintains day to day relationships with each customer and communicates with customers on a regular basis
- Maintains departmental documentation including standard operating procedures.

Valuable to Have:
- Research problems identifies problems and resolutions using proper escalation procedures.
- Support incident management processes.
- Initiates communication to, and interface with, applications programming,
- Monitors hardware/software for respective areas.
- Implements IPLs on all LPAR's for the Hardware, Mainframe and Storage teams.
- Implements HSM maintenance.
- Moderates the Business Readiness Technical Roll Call and the morning shift turnover meeting.
- Monitor batch cycle for Disaster Recovery testing.
- New printer Installation.
- Fail printers and move work to a new destination.
