Role & responsibilities

Audit Execution & Credit Quality Review

• Lead end-to-end credit reviews for Mid-Market, Large Corporate, and Institutional client portfolios.

• Critique financial statement analyses, cash flow projections, and debt-service capabilities of borrowers.

• Evaluate complex private bank structures, including syndications, structured finance, and working capital limits.

• Verify collateral valuation veracity, charge creation legality, and financial covenant adherence.

Risk Monitoring & Analytics Integration

• Audit the accuracy of internal borrower risk ratings and Early Warning System (EWS) triggers.

• Assess exposure aggregation against group borrower limits and sector concentration caps.

• Evaluate the bank's provisioning adequacy, Special Mention Account (SMA) classification, and NPL management.

• Partner with the CoE team to leverage data analytics (SQL/Excel) for sample selection and exception tracking.

Stakeholder & Regulatory Management

• Present audit findings directly to Business Unit Heads, Credit Approvers, and Relationship Directors.





• Formulate sharp, fact-based audit reports highlighting structural gaps and underlying root causes.

• Secure management commitments on actionable, time-bound remediation plans.

• Ensure absolute alignment with central bank guidelines for large exposures and asset classification.

KPIs -

• Audit Execution: Delivery of scheduled wholesale audits within targeted budget hours.

• Observation Acceptance: Percentage of material risk observations validated and accepted by business units.

• Regulatory Compliance:Zero major credit-underwriting or classification gaps flagged by central bank inspectors.
