About the Role

BMW TechWorks India is looking for an experienced Python CI/DevOps Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our engineering team in Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps automation solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of cloud-based platforms while driving best practices in software development and site reliability engineering.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation frameworks.
- Build and optimize cloud-native solutions for high availability, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop automation tools and scripts using Python to streamline infrastructure and deployment processes.




- Design software architecture and contribute to technical decision-making for large-scale systems.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using automation tools such as Ansible.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI systems using Zuul, Bazel, CMake, and Git-based workflows.
- Ensure application reliability, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting using tools such as Kibana.
- Perform code reviews, optimize application performance, and enforce software engineering best practices.
- Apply SOLID principles, Unit Testing, and Test-Driven Development (TDD) to deliver high-quality software.
- Collaborate with global teams in an Agile environment using methodologies such as Kanban.

Required Skills
- 10 - 15 years of experience in Python Development, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Robust programming expertise in Python.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD integ
