Role & responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance of thermal power plant equipment, particularly BHEL make LCI VFD drives for ID Fans and HT motor protection systems.
- Carry out troubleshooting and condition monitoring of LCI VFD drives to ensure maximum equipment availability and reliable performance.
- Diagnose and resolve faults in electrical switchgear, ESP (Electrostatic Precipitator) systems, and associated electrical equipment.
- Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for LCI VFDs, switchgear, and ESP systems.
- Manage critical spare parts inventory for LCI VFDs, switchgear, and ESP systems to minimize equipment downtime.
- Monitor equipment health and recommend corrective actions to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.
- Utilize SAP for maintenance planning, work order management, equipment history, and record keeping.
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and ensure compliance with statutory and safety regulations.
- Lead maintenance activities with a focus on secure work practices, quality execution, and timely completion of jobs.
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operation and optimize equipment performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability and maintenance effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to organizational safety standards, maintenance procedures, and regulatory compliance.
Preferred candidate profile
1-Expertise in Electrical Maintenance with key knowledge in BHEL Make LCI VFD system, ESP, switchgear and protection system
2-Minimum 3years of experience in Thermal Power Plant of more than 500 MW Capacity
