BNP Paribas India is hiring for the role of C++ Developer - APEX - Global Markets IT
Responsibilities
The developer will be required to do analysis, developments, Maintenance, and bug fixes.
The developer is required to show a steep learning curve to understand the application flows and independently work in the scrum.
Provide requisite information in the Jira, Intra Wiki or Word document as per the prescribed format for the team.
Would participate and contribute to the work estimation, release and post release activities.
Perform peer reviews of the team.
Is expected to learn about the product and all parts of the system at code level.
Is required to frequently interact (by email/ chat/ phone/ Video Conference) with business Analysts, other application teams, production support in multiple locations.
The developer is expected to take on tasks independently and own them across all stages of the SDLC.

- Open to recent technology adaptions, learning and implementation within the project.
- Maintain the team practices and processes, retrospectives.
- Status reporting to technical and functional managers
- Sound knowledge of Software Engineering and Object-Oriented programming
- Very good understanding of C++ programming including STL, multi-threaded applications and Services.
- Sound knowledge of RDBMS / SQL
- Very good in investigating issues and providing solutions.
- Possess the ability to explain and articulate solutions and work constructively with others including more senior and junior members in the team to implement the same.
- Good to have experience of IBM MQ
- Have a “can do” attitude that focuses on resolving the overall problem in the medium and long term as well as meeting the short-term ob
