About the Role
LTIMindtree is looking for an experienced Platform Engineer II – Cloud Ecosystems to build, automate, and manage highly scalable cloud platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), AWS Cloud, Python, Linux, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) while working with global engineering teams to deliver secure and resilient cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable cloud platforms and developer self-service solutions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes.
- Develop platform components using Python and Java.
- Build and support cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Support microservices-based architectures.
- Monitor system health, reliability, and performance.
- Perform troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis.
- Implement disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to enhance platform capabilities.
Must-Have Skills
- 5–8 years of experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, or Cloud Engineering.
- Strong programming experience in Python (Mandatory).
- Good knowledge of Java.
- Experience with AWS Cloud (including AWS S3).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Robust Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Microservices Architecture.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of SLOs, SLAs, automation, and platform engineering best practices.
