Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Cloud Infrastructure Engineer role based in Chennai. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud environments, including provisioning resources, configuring networks, and managing storage and compute services. The role includes monitoring system performance, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and implementing automation for deployment, configuration management, and routine tasks.



The engineer will collaborate with security, development, and operations teams to ensure high availability, disaster recovery readiness, and compliance with security standards. Daily responsibilities also involve documenting infrastructure, optimizing costs, and participating in change management and incident response activities.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and core services, including compute, storage, networking, and identity management.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code and automation tools (for example, Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar technologies).
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows server administration, shell scripting, and basic system troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of network concepts and security controls, including VPC design, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and access management.
