Role Description
The Cinematographer internship at Perceptive Studio is an on-site role based in Srinagar. In this position, the intern will support the visual production process, including operating cameras, assisting with shot composition, and setting up lighting for location shoots (Mostly hospitality i.e Hotels, Resorts, Home stays). Daily tasks may include preparing and organizing equipment, and helping capture high-quality video content for brand campaigns and digital storytelling projects. The intern will also assist with basic production workflows, maintain a tidy and safe set environment, and contribute creative ideas to enhance the visual narrative. This is an internship role designed to provide hands-on experience in cinematography within a collaborative studio setting.

Qualifications

F
- oundational skills in Camera Operation and Cinematography, with an understanding of framing,



composition, and movement.
- Familiarity with production workflows and on-set prototyping & improvisation.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Lighting techniques, including setting up and adjusting lights to achieve desired moods and styles.
- Ability to follow creative direction, work well in a collaborative team setting, and communicate clearly on set.
- Attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving during shoots.
- Familiarity with digital cameras and related equipment; experience with editing software is a plus.
- Willingness to work on-site in Srinagar and adapt to fast-paced production schedules.
