Step into the role of AVP KYC at Barclays, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future. In this pivotal role you will manage operations within a business area and maintain processes, risk management initiatives, and compliance with relevant regulators. You will take ownership of your work, ensuring it aligns with the relevant rules & regulations, and codes of conduct.

You will support business objectives by maintaining effective KYC processes, strengthening financial crime controls, managing high-risk customer reviews, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:
- Strong experience in KYC Operations, with a thorough understanding of customer due diligence and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions independently and exercise judgment with minimal guidance.
- Experience in Financial Crime Compliance,



including oversight of High-Risk Refresh and SRR (Scheduled/Standard Risk Review) Management activities.
- Solid Stakeholder Management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior colleagues across KYC, Financial Crime, Coverage, and Relationship Management teams, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of interpreting complex data and recommending solutions to enhance operational efficiency and controls.
- Demonstrated understanding of risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
